A bit of Northern Florida. Beaches.

Anastasia State Park, FL.
The reviews promised sand dunes, warmth of the sun and a white sand.
We came here in a cloudy day and thanks god,  it saved us from the sun burns.
The beach reminded me the Rogaland beaches with their high dunes, permanent wind  and scanty vegetation... sweet memories from / about  Norway...
The biggest difference is the air and water temperature. Unfortunately Stavanger cannot beat the Florida weather.

Even the grains of sand are so small as in Stavanger area.

The different kinds of  shells are everywhere: on the shore, in the water, under the feet... It's impossible to not explore and collect them.

St.Augustine, FL.

4-th of July, preparation to the Celebration of America Birthday.

People occupy the best places in the middle of the day  to watch the fireworks in the late evening.

Destin, Florida, Crystal beach.
I heard a lot of stories about this place from Houston people as a main destination for Texans.
A crystal turquoise water, a blue sky,a white sand, just 9 hours of driving from Houston and you get to a unreal reality.
I regret we did not have a lot of time to explore more beaches and state parks on this side of Florida. It seems like there are really nice places for a long weekend vacation.

We found the sign "Public beach access" and went to the beach without any preparations. We were a bit confused when discovered a signs "Private beach"  all over the coast and chairs with umbrellas close to water line. The Google explained us any person can use beach' 20-30 feet from the highest water line even if it's private beach. but how can we do it if the chairs are located exactly on that permitted area?

"You can use a beach and put your stuff just behind the chairs and umbrellas, not in front of it. They have a priority here." I got some instruction from the lady sitting in her own chair close to me.
What a release! Now I can relax and enjoy my day on the lovely beach.
